Proximity Card Features
- Proximity cards operate at a frequency of 125kHz and have a memory capacity of 32 bytes, allowing for contactless reading up to a distance of 8 cm without needing to touch the reader.
- Proximity cards that meet ISO standards are credit card-sized and can be provided with thermal and retransfer printing on both surfaces, as well as offset printing.
- Known as proxy cards, proximity cards are effective within a distance range of 0-10 cm, enabling portable use.
- The low semi-finished product cost in card production makes them attractive for use in businesses with a high number of employees.
- Proximity cards can be used in various systems such as employee attendance control, access control, cafeteria management, entry and exit tracking, gym member tracking, and turnstile access control systems.
