CONTACT SMART CARD

Overview

Smart cards are cards that can store and process a wide variety of data by containing contact or contactless chips. These cards are special cards that prevent the reading or copying of information by using different encryption techniques with their embedded chips.

While the use of smart cards is increasing every day, they not only securely store information but can also be used as a secure key for identity and payment applications.

Smart cards can be used in two different ways: contact and contactless. In contact smart cards, the chip is visibly placed on the card and works by being inserted into a card reader. Therefore, it has a contact feature. When the microchip on the card's surface is placed into the card reader, data transfer from the chip occurs easily and is recorded.

Thanks to the high technological features we offer and the chip on the card surface, contact smart cards are used in many areas such as computer and internet security.
