UHF CARD
Overview |
|
UHF cards are used in long-range card reader systems, personnel management, material management, and systems that manage vehicle access. |
When used in barrier systems, UHF cards are placed on the vehicle's windshield or presented to the UHF antenna for access. These cards, which communicate at a frequency range of 800 to 1100 MHz, feature long-range reading capabilities. Depending on the antenna structure, they can be read from distances of up to 12 meters. The card chip is not visible, and they are an example of contactless smart cards.
